Konstantinos Kavourakis wanted to become a policeman, he wanted to live forever in love with his Helen and their three children, he wanted to be respected... One day, when anger will make him once again misbehave, he will face the resistance of his eldest son, he will feel driven out of his home, and from Sepolia he will find himself homeless in the centre of Athens. He faces the difficulties and dangers of his new condition, reminisces about his life and finds support and kindness from other outcasts. And if this is not happiness, at least Felicita, a black and white cat that frequents the streets around Agia Irini Square, warms his heart. The members of his family, however, each have their own version of the past, the present and the future. Five people, each with their own burdens, worries and troubles, want to tell their own story - the story of their own history - interwoven with the novel of family life. Confessional, bittersweet, instantly tender, a novel like a fleeting caress to the people who quietly crack beside us.
