Οur Book Club members, along with the students from the School's "Arcadia" program, meet the geologist, professor and author Ioannis Baziotis, on the occasion of his book "A Greek in Antartica" (in Greek). Dr. Baziotis will share his experience as the first Greek scientist-member of the 41st NASA mission to Antarctica in search of meteorites in November 2017!

The Reading Book Club of the Secondary School students will meet to share and discuss their reading experience of the book "The story of a seagull and the cat who taught her to fly" by Luis Sepúlveda, translated in Greek. Students will engage in various experiential activities along with a secret guest!

The painting that travels
As part of the innovative experiential Literacy Program, Primary School teachers in cooperation with the ‘Dimitris and Aliki Perrotis’ library staff organize the presentation of the book ‘The painting that travels’ with the presence of the author Eleni Gkika. Students of the second grade will attend the presentation and participate in related activities.
Agricultural newspaper
We launched our subscription to the weekly agricultural newspaper Ypaithros Hora. Come by the library and get informed on the latest agricultural developments.
Koha, the new library catalog
Our library transfered its resources from Its old Integrated Library System and online Catalog to a new, web-based, open-source system called ‘Koha’.

Reading Book Club and Erotokritos
The Reading Book Club of the Secondary School students welcomes the authors of the well received comic 'Erotokritos' based on the famous Cretan chivalrous epic work from Polaris publishing. The authors, Georgios Gousis, Dimosthenis Papamarkos and Giannis Ragos will be present.
