After being acquitted of the murder of her husband, Giorgis Provios, and her daughter, Julia is now reclaiming her life. At the same time, journalist Alexandra Gika and lawyer Demetros Adzalinas, who managed to exonerate her, become entangled in a story that links the past with the present. Thus, Alexandra suddenly finds herself suspected as to the motive for taking over Julia's case, while Demetros is confronted with a wrongdoing and the mystery of a murder during the Occupation, involving old acquaintances.
