Library Suggestions on Websites, Activities and Applications for Stay-at-home Families and Educators during Easter

The 'Dimitris and Aliki Perrotis' Library continues to share with you lists of proposed websites, online applications and activities, which we think that will come in handy during Easter for both you and your children/students.

For Children:

  • The C for Circus drama club presents Thanos Mikroutsikos's ultimate musical called "Till the Rim of the World"; playwright: Maria Papagianni [in Greek]
  • Free printable pictures with animals from Live Books [in Greek]
  • Author Dimitris Baslam offers free activities for children, themed after his book "Agisilagos", through his personal Facebook page [in Greek]
  • Digital book with questions and answers about the coronavirus, by Nosy Crow Publications. For school kids; you can download the book for free
  • Easter activitiesfrom the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation [in Greek]
  • Spring activities, from the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation [in Greek]

 

For Adults:

  • Every Wednesday and Saturday, you can enjoy productions by the Athens Concert Hall, for free [in Greek]
  • The Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports offers video suggestions during the Holy Week, through its YouTube channel. You can view the details of this program here [in Greek]
  • eparea.gr website, with online events, concerts, live streaming, entertainment, and more [in Greek]
  • From Tuesday, April 14th to Sunday, April 26th, the Thessaloniki Film Festival offers free screenings of selected Greek films from its 60th festival, through its famous digital platform called Festival Scope. You can also watch films for children by subscribing to the platform [in Greek]
  • Stavros Niarchos Foundation's digital platform offers online activities for all, now that we #stayhome [in Greek]
