Borrowing Privileges

Staff

You can use your Library Card to borrow print library materials based on the borrowing policies below:

Loaning Periods

	‘Dimitris and Aliki Perrotis’ Central Library
Books	Up to 5 items for 45 days
Magazines/Journals	Up to 5 back issues for 7 days
Electronic devices	1 for 30 days

Overdue Items

Overdues	Library Expectation/Assumption	Action Taken
>1 month	Missing	Users cannot borrow any Library materials until the overdue item is returned
Requested by others	1 week notice to User to return the requested item	Users cannot borrow any Library materials until the overdue item is returned
Never returned	Lost	Users will be charged with replacing the lost item
Returned damaged	Damaged	Users will be charged with replacing the lost item

Residents

You can use your Library Card to borrow print library materials based on the borrowing policies below:

Books	Up to 3 items for 14 days

Overdue Items

Overdues	Library Expectation/Assumption	Action Taken
> 1 month	Missing	Users cannot borrow any Library materials until the overdue item is returned
Requested by others	1 week notice to User to return the requested item	Users cannot borrow any Library materials until the overdue item is returned
Never returned	Lost	Users will be charged with replacing the lost item
Returned damaged	Damaged	Users will be charged with replacing the lost item
